Pyramid Solitaire

How to Play Pyramid Solitaire

The goal of Pyramid Solitaire is to clear a pyramid of cards by selecting pairs that add up to a total value of 13. It's a game of simple math and forward-thinking strategy.

Card values are straightforward: Number cards are worth their face value (e.g., a 7 is worth 7), an Ace is worth 1, a Jack is 11, and a Queen is 12. Kings are unique; they are worth 13 by themselves and can be removed as soon as they are uncovered without needing a pair.

You can only play cards that are fully uncovered. To make a pair, you can select two available cards from the pyramid (like an 8 and a 5) or pair one card from the pyramid with the face-up card from the stock pile at the bottom.

If you run out of moves on the pyramid, click the stock pile to draw a new card. This card can then be used to make a pair. You can cycle through the stock pile as many times as you need to find potential matches.

For a winning strategy, always try to make a move that will uncover the most new cards. This opens up more possibilities for future matches and increases your chances of clearing the entire pyramid.
